We are at the forefront of future engineering technologies, with solutions that ensure the success of our clients in key industries that are shaping the future of the world we live in.Purpose StatementWorking closely with the Supervisor, this person will be responsible to coordinate the assembly of equipment in the Cleaner product line as well as secure on-time delivery of products and parts to customers.Job responsibilities and tasksResponsibilities (include but are not limited to):Assemble Cleaner according to prints, sketches, schematics and customer requestsOperate and maintain cutting equipment used in Cleaner productionMaintain a product quality level that assures scrap/rework expenses below budgeted amountPrepare assembled equipment for shipment by boxing and crating equipmentTransport materials safely using mobile equipmentMaintain open communication with Production Supervisor and Product GroupContinuously improve profitability through improving safety, quality, reducing manufacturing costs, reducing lead times and working as a team memberOperate machining lathe. Set-up as required to machine proper plastic parts to meet established engineering criteriaMaintain inventory cycle countingUse of precision measuring instrumentsOperate manual machine and pneumatic toolsUse computer to print jobs and prints, log inventory, receive POsEducation, professional experience and qualification preferred/requiredHigh School education or equivalentComputer/Business Operating System experienceAssembly and inventory control experience requiredFamiliar with the use of precision measiuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematicsAbility to safely operate mobile equipmentExcellent communication and problem solving skillsGood organization skillsPhysical and Mental QualificationsRequires ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for positions: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, maneuver within tight spaces, and may require lifting in excess of 50 lbs. Must have visual acuity, manual dexterity, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment.
