Responsible for providing professional nursing care to care center patients under supervision of Physicians and patient Clinical Services Manager.LPN should be experienced in Pediatric Care, as well as Pediatric VaccinesAdvocare, LLC is a partnership of the top doctors in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including pediatricians, family practice doctors and specialists. As part of the team, you'll work side-by-side with forward-thinking professionals who strive to provide the highest quality medical care by meeting and exceeding standards for clinical outcomes while delivering exceptional patient service in an evolving healthcare environment.Essential Functions:Provides general nursing care to patients.Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Prepares list of medical supplies needed.Ensures cleanliness.Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.Educates patient & family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.Ensures appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriation information. Instruct patients in collection of samples and tests.Maintains/reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results.Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.Perform other duties/tasks as requested by providers, coordinators, and management in accordance with office procedures/policies.Maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling patient's medical records and information.Required Skills/Abilities:Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in administrative tasksMust be highly organized and detail-oriented; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibilityFamiliarity with medical terminology and digital record systemsAbility to communicate effectively and verbalize ideasProven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrates the highest level of customer/client service and responseDemonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience:Must have an active LPN licenseCompletion of an approved LPN program requiredMinimum of one-year professional nursing experience, clinic experience preferred.Must maintain CPR certification
