**Warehouse**
Warehouse Madison, South Dakota Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Montgomerys is currently looking for an individual to join our warehouse team at our Madison location. This person would help in several areas in our warehouse including receiving freight, unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, preparing orders for delivery and pickup; open, assemble and inspect furniture. We will expect this person to also work with others in the warehouse team in a way that promotes teamwork and cooperation. This position will collect money for balances due where required and collect proper signatures from the customer. This person may also help with placing displays under the direction of our merchandising team. This position will include doing some deliveries to our customers homes. This individual must provide courteous and professional service to our customers at all times.
Qualifications:
* Preferred knowledge of warehousing applications and/or previous warehouse experience
* Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
* Ability to operate a forklift.
* Must have the ability to use tools to assist in lifting and transporting large and sometime heavy furniture and assemble and install furniture.
* Must have the ability to bend, lift and carry furniture and items into customers homes, properly placing them and assembling where required.
* High school diploma or GED; must be able to read, write and have basic math skills.
* Ability to lift or carry up to 100 pounds and sit and stand for extended periods of time.
