NEW Opportunity for an Expert IT Business Analyst!
Are you passionate about developing and implementing innovative solutions? We are seeking a dedicated IT business analyst to join a company that provides natural gas and electric services to one of the largest states in the US. This role is for one of their teams, specialized in enhancing and expanding the functionality of their Customer Care and Billing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and develop functional requirements and design documents.
- Assess O&M and project defects to determine business/technical impact and provide recommendations for fixes.
- Guide and provide input to business organizations regarding enhancement feasibility.
- Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements using business process knowledge.
- Evaluate business needs and requirements, preparing estimates for customer requests.
- Create preliminary mockups and designs, and assemble functional/non-functional requirements.
- Offer technical expertise in designing, testing, and developing applications.
- Conduct feasibility analysis, design, and provide recommendations on alternative solutions, project strategy, and system enhancements.
- Prepare final functional requirement and design documents, and conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders for approval.
- Document and analyze project change controls with businesses.
- Support the stabilization of deployed code and troubleshoot potential system issues.
- Analyze production defects, identify business and system impacts, and provide solutions.
- Assist business and technical teams with ad hoc requests, offering functional expertise to resolve business issues.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Oracle CC&B ( Customer Care & Billing) applications and data modeling.
- Proven experience in analyzing, designing, and developing functional requirements and design, including UX/UI design.
- Experience as a Project Manager handling high-complexity projects.
- Oracle Utility C2M certification is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of relational databases (SQL experience) and UML.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and successful system enhancements.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Experience with Salesforce CRM application and data model is preferred.
- Familiarity with Call Center and/or Back office-centric business operations.
- Understanding of database/schema architecture.
