Job Details

This position is primarily responsible for handling all internal and external mail for the City. Picking up mail from the post office twice a day and sorting it. Maintaining a log of items delivered via FedEx, certified mail or print shop order for various departments. Stamping postage on letters that are being mailed out for various departments. Gather information to compile a report that will charge back the postage accurately to City Departments. Pick up and deliver mail to other divisions of ARA that are offsite as well as City Hall. Respond to routine customer requests and inquiries. Performs other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS - The position will require driving a city vehicle with occasional periods of walking, stooping, bending and/or light lifting of materials up to 10 pounds. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Requires a high school diploma or GED. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Six months of clerical or customer service experience is required.
