Logistics Project Solar - High Travel - USA - Skills: ECP, Utility-Scale Solar, PV, Photovoltaic - 63k base salary, rotational program + full benefits.


Imagine yourself working with one of the biggest and fastest growing firm in the US. In this role you would have the opportunity to assist Electrical Assistant and Electrical Project Manager in administrative and technical management of large utility scale Solar projects.



The Role:

  • Contract and Planning: Review owner contracts, assist in developing startup checklists, and create site utilization plans.
  • Mobilization and Selection: Coordinate mobilization efforts and assist in selecting subcontractors and vendors.
  • Critical Path Management: Identify critical issues and milestones and finalize Prolog setup.
  • Schedule Development: Participate in the creation of construction schedules and subcontractor project orientations.
  • Log Development: Develop submittal logs and establish fabrication and delivery schedules.
  • Delivery Coordination: Confirm material deliveries, conduct submittal and shop drawing reviews, and review coordination drawings.
  • Cost Management: Process subcontractor and vendor pay requests, track owner payments and subcontractor back charges, and update labor cost reports.
  • Change Order Support: Create change requests, review scope changes, determine schedule impacts, issue owner notifications, expedite pricing, prepare cost proposals, and negotiate costs.
  • Material Monitoring: Monitor materials stored off-site, coordinate owner-furnished materials, and verify fabrication status.
  • Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Expedite agreements and assist with insurance and bond agreements.
  • Documentation and Meetings: Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, manage job site files, process progress photos, and assist with project status reports.
  • Communication and Compliance: Maintain Prolog, generate correspondence, administer the RFI process, and ensure compliance with company policies.


Requirements (desirable, not essential):

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline
  • Six months to one-year minimum Solar internship or full-time experience as a project engineer or assistant project engineer in the construction industry
  • Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and are required to interface directly with owners' representatives, the A/E team, building departments and other team members
  • Basic finance skills
