Job Description

A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction inthe context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with
designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties formaintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person andelectronically.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity ofcomplaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieveminimum property standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required;Associates Degree Preferred.
  • 2+ years of directly related or closely related experience.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
