Urology Opportunity
Location: North Carolina
Job Type: Contract (3 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours:
Clinic Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Last patient at 4:00 PM, Lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
Alternating weekend hospital call
Patient Load:
20 patients per day
Responsibilities:
Provide general urology care in a clinic setting, including procedures such as prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, prostate ultrasounds, and general urology follow-ups.
Alternate with other staff for hospital call, including potential 24-hour hospital call every other week.
Cover ED call if staying over the weekend.
Perform surgeries and work in the OR as required.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist
North Carolina Medical Licence
North Carolina DEA
Experience with general urology procedures
Ability to perform surgeries and work in the OR
Willingness to take hospital call and occasional 24-hour call shifts
Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred
