Overview:
Connection has a fantastic immediate opportunity for an onsite contract IT Shipping Clerk for an insurance organization in the Bloomfield, CT area. The contract IT Shipping Clerk is responsible for receiving all returned equipment as well as inspecting for damage, sorting, scanning, and processing collection tickets. This is a 6 month contract role with the potential for the opportunity to extend to 12 months. Contractors are eligible for sick time accrual, a wellness day, and medical, dental, and vision benefits that begin the first of the month following the month of hire!

Responsibilities:
- Unboxing all returned equipment
- Inspecting for damage (salvaging all broken non endpoint hardware)
- Sorting equipment into the appropriate bins or area within intake room
- Scan endpoint serial number to marry returned endpoint with collection ticket
- Wipe hard drive for endpoints going back to leaser remarketer or salvage vendor
- Documenting work in Service Now Collection Tickets
- Perform other duties assigned by Depot leadership
Min:
USD $20.00/Hr.
Max:
USD $22.00/Hr.
Qualifications:
1+ years of warehouseeceiving experience
Positive, team-oriented approach and attitude to getting work done
Ability to adapt to the needs of the business and help in other depot areas as needed
Ability to communicate with and manage expectations
Action oriented individual with persistence to complete tasks and assignments despite obstacles
Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision even when under pressure
Learning and applying quickly
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
