CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client specializes in developing, manufacturing and supplying high tech industry core materials, focusing on industries such as semiconductor, display and secondary battery cells.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be responsible for the on-time manufacturing of customized, high-quality lithium-ion battery electrolytes with zero safety incidents and a range of critical tasks. These include operation of production equipment and material handling during batch production of custom electrolyte formulations, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment functionality, resolving quality issues, and adhering to safety protocols. Your contributions will also support various aspects of the production process, from raw material handling to shipping and logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Operates material handling and process equipment to produce customized electrolyte formulations using diverse methods tailored to customer requirements.
  • Maintain precise inventory of raw materials, lithium-ion battery electrolytes and production support supplies to sustain seamless operations.
  • Work alongside engineers to guarantee the operational efficiency of process equipment through routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other departments in addressing product-related quality concerns, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Provide comprehensive support across all facets of the production process, encompassing raw material and empty container handling, product shipping, and in-house logistics.
  • Execute all tasks in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere rigorously to company, industry, and OSHA safety protocols, including equipment safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-5 years experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of safe hazardous material handling policies and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of batch production processes and process equipment will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment and lift or move 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to make presentations to small and large groups.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
