Position Summary
The Electronic Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing of electronics on
company equipment, using a multimeter and other tools.
Job Duties and Key Responsibilities
? Troubleshoot and repair of electronic systems on all company equipment with little to no supervision.
? Troubleshoot and install network equipment with supervision.
? Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
? Knowledge of software and adapters used to program, calibrate and troubleshoot electronic sensors and equipment.
? Perform instrumentation PMs and maintain accurate records for equipment.
? Assist in training of field personnel on troubleshooting and operating control systems.
? Assist shop personnel in installation and troubleshooting of electronics on company equipment.
? Build and repair cables as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities
? Proficient in safe operating procedures, quality testing, and equipment maintenance.
? Computer literacy and proficiency in Windows operating systems.
? Demonstrated knowledge of 12-24 VDC and 120 VAC power systems.
? Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and certifications.
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to multitask and work under varying degrees of pressure.
? Ability to travel 85+% of time.
Minimum Education and Experience
? Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Oil & Gas or related industry, with a strong background in electronics.

? Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
? Bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
? Driving for extended periods
? Wearing appropriate PPE (respirator, hearing protection, eye protection, hard hat, etc.)
