Job Details
We're hiring a Research Associate or Sr. Research Associate to join our Proteomics Group. We need a detail-oriented team player comfortable with complex problem-solving. This hands-on role focuses on sample prep, method development, and analysis using LC-MS. You'll work closely with Proteomics Scientists, initially trained in advanced methods, and eventually leading small projects. Some projects follow SOPs, while others require troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples from tissues, cells, and biofluids
- Optimize and develop sample preparation methods
- Operate liquid handling systems
- Analyze samples using HPLCs, mass spectrometers, and other bioanalytical equipment
- Support lab organization
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or related field
- Basic understanding and experience with biochemical assays and procedures
- Experience in proteomic sample preparation
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience in proteomic data analysis
- Experience with histology/IHC/IF/LCM
- Experience in method development for HPLC/MS
- Experience in immunoprecipitation and/or PTM enrichments
- Experience with high-throughput automation and liquid handling systems
