We re looking for a candidate passionate about the home furnishings category to ensure the high quality production of our growing collection. As our Furniture Quality + Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the production of our assortment of home furnishings is a success. Reporting to our Product Success + Operations Manager, you will conduct quality inspections for products ready to ship across our North Carolina partner network.


The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with past experience in furniture operations and production, furniture design, or quality assurance. They should be adept at reading and interpreting furniture specification documentation, possess excellent communication skills to deliver timely feedback, and have a proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with our production partners in the North Carolina area. Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate weekly partner visits to review furniture products ready for shipment
  • Assist in quality audits, including wood finish inspections and material inspections.
  • Aid in documenting and maintaining Maiden Home product specifications
  • Support the Maiden Home team in implementing changes in production, including specification adjustments and packaging modifications for products
  • Assist the Maiden Home product development team by documenting initial dimensions and measurements for sample products
  • Provide support in addressing urgent quality issues


Qualifications:

  • Experience in furniture manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills with exceptional follow through
  • Action oriented with strong solving problem skills; ready to jump in on any manufacturing issue that arises with a can-do attitude
  • Possess a valid driver's license
