As a Consumer Products Media Reporting Analyst, you'll play a vital role in analyzing media performance data to optimize campaigns and drive measurable results for their customers.


Job Summary: They are seeking a talented and analytical Media Reporting Analyst to join their consumer products team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting media performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to drive marketing effectiveness and a keen understanding of the consumer products landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data from various sources, including ad platforms, media vendors, and internal systems, and conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate the performance of media campaigns for consumer products brands.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), including impressions, clicks, conversions, and return on investment (ROI). Present findings in clear and concise reports and presentations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Insight Generation: Analyze media performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to media planners and buyers to enhance campaign targeting, messaging, and media spend allocation.
  • Data Visualization: Develop visually compelling dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Excel to streamline reporting processes and enhance data interpretation for internal teams and clients.
  • Client Communication: Partner with account management teams to deliver insights and updates on campaign performance to clients. Collaborate on client presentations and meetings to address inquiries, discuss performance trends, and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in media measurement and reporting. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, statistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in media analytics, reporting, or a related role within an agency or consumer products environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms, such as Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.


Position: FT/Permanent

Available: Immediately

Location: Oakland, CA; Hybrid with 3 days a week in the Oakland Office

Compensation: 120K base plus 10% bonus plus great benefits,
