Job Summary:

As the Manager of the Plant Operations team, your focus will be on overseeing the daily operations of hydropower generation stations. You'll be responsible for supervision, budgeting, ensuring safe operations, maintenance, and adherence to protocols. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company and contributing to our mission of clean energy transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership to a team of Production Technicians, ensuring collaboration, motivation, and adherence to safety and operational protocols.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of hydropower generation stations, ensuring safe and efficient operations, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational requirements, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage resources, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to Production Technicians, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Generate and submit reports on operational performance, safety incidents, and maintenance activities to senior management.
  • Respond to changing situations, emergencies, and multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Management and Engineering, to optimize plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive professional growth and development by setting and achieving clear objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Promote and embody the company's core values, fostering a culture of alignment and commitment among team members.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
  • 4 - 6+ years of relevant experience in hydropower operations.
  • Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of hydropower plant operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.
