Summary:

This position coordinates collections and analysis of data to support monitoring and improvement activities within CCHH. This person will support functions to provide statistical reports related to clinical service metrics. In addition, this position will be called upon to facilitate improvement teams, chair groups, and will be expected to work closely with the department leaders of CCHH on clinical and operational quality and utilization management issues within CCHH. This position is also integral in the identification and correction of CCHH regulatory and contractual compliance issues.

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university; BSN from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Home Health experience with sound understanding of CMS regulatory and Joint Commission standards regulatory compliance highly desirable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Understanding of Quality Improvement methodology and knowledge in data collections

  • Must be proficient in use of word processing applications, spreadsheet programs, database applications, and use of Web Based technology to find resource information

  • Oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all members of company team to achieve positive outcomes

  • Must be able to adapt to changing healthcare environment and requirements


Certification/Licensure

  • Current RN license from Texas Board of Nursing required
