Previous experience with paving, crushing, and/or roadbuilding equipment is required. Experience as a heavy equipment mobile mechanic/technician, aka Field Service Technician, is preferred. Previous experience with Wirtgen, Hamm, Vogele, Kleeman, Roadtec, Bomag, Dynapac, Weiler, Aztec is highly preferred. John Deere experience is a plus. Tools as required of a typical diesel technician.
