**Description**

As a manager for Wiese, you are the driver of material handling service, operations, and safety for one of the nations largest and oldest Cat Lift Truck dealers. You manage all aspects of our business at the local level and implement Wieses strategic plan to achieve specific goals of profitability and growth. You lead by example, promoting our Wiese vision, values and culture, and safety while supporting all that has made Wiese a leader in the material handling equipment and service industry.

A Wiese Manager knows the market and anticipates the needs of current and prospective customers. The successful candidate will lead a service and parts staff to its highest revenue potential, work as a partner with our sales and rental teams, and lead local safety efforts to ensure our Team Members go home healthy every day.

As a manager, you will act as both a mentor and teacher, hiring and developing a staff to bring out your teams very best performance. Success will be measured by your teams ability to achieve strategic business goals.

* Manage, motivate and develop people

* Construction background or related experience preferable

* 60% Office-based / 40% Customer-facing

* Master Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

**External Candidates:**

* Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience of service/repair department

* Basic understanding of our all our products and services required.

* Strong communication skills including the desire to develop and lead a team

* Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks/projects

* Basic understand of business management, financial documents, team building, motivation skills.

* Effective computer skills

* Professional appearance and demeanor

* A general knowledge of construction or related experience is highly desirable.

**Internal Candidates:**

* (in lieu of direct experience) Completion of development plan created by your supervisor

* Be a positive influence within your branch. Proven history of improving and assisting others within the team and mentoring new hires. Natural optimist.

* Minimum of 3 consecutive positive performance reviews in your current position at Wiese.
