Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Workday security roles, permissions, and data access policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on security roles and access controls.
- Ensure proper security in the system change management process.
- Administer user access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
- Conduct periodic access reviews.
- Implement and enforce user access controls.
- Translate business requirements into security roles.
- Test security updates thoroughly before production implementation.
- Partner with IT Compliance to review security models and documentation.
- Facilitate security audits and address any gaps.
- Lead response efforts for security incidents.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data access, retention, and sharing regulations.
- Stay updated with data privacy laws and best practices.
- Implement new security tools and technologies.
- Continuously assess and improve security controls.
- Provide user support and training on security topics.
- Maintain documentation and resources related to security administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, HR, Information Management, or related field, plus 2+ years' experience in Workday Security; or equivalent education and experience.
- Relevant Workday Security certifications are a plus.
- Expert knowledge of Workday security and data access policies.
- Strong understanding of SOX Compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proficiency in analyzing business requirements and configuring Workday security.
- Experience with security audits, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (x-lookup, v-lookup, pivot tables, macros).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
