General Information

  • Located in Lordstown, OH
  • Up to $65000 annual salary based on experience
  • 1st shift working Monday - Friday, 645am to 3pm
  • Must be available to work additional hours as needed.
  • Direct Hire opportunity with the company.

As the Production Supervisor you would be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing operation. Must be a result driven leader with a passion for implementing and sustaining improvements, thinking strategically, and leading by example.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate machine operation to ensure that all products manufactured are of the highest quality and meets customer expectations.
  • Responsible for KPI's directly related to productivity, scrap, quality, and scheduled hours.
  • Drives continuous improvement of all processes while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Provide expected completion dates to customer.
  • Create and maintain production schedule and prioritize orders for production optimization.
  • Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory.
  • Review and approve timecards, conduct performance evaluations, and coach team members.
  • Estimate staffing needs and develop production schedules.
  • Coordinate resources across one or more shifts to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist with supervision of other departments in injection molding or warehouse as needed.

Skills/Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience Supervising in a Manufacturing environment. Prior experience in pouch manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Tools such as Kaizen or Lean Sigma Principles.
  • Should have general computer knowledge, good communication skills, and a desire to drive results.
  • Experience with analyzing data in ERP/MRP systems and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
