Survey Manager / Professional Land Surveyor

Our client is a growing, reputable Civil Engineering firm serving the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a highly Licensed Surveyor or Survey Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of their survey department. This person will manage or provide assistance with the compiling and base mapping of survey data, generating staking calculations, preparing record plat maps, preparing ALTA surveys, preparing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, preparing loan maps, and other related functions. We have a need for a Surveyor and a Manager.

• 3 - 5 years' prior surveying experience.
• PLS in North Carolina or the ability to transfer/obtain from another state in a very short amount of time.
• Proficient in survey computations.
• Proficient in office and field procedures.
• Perform quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans, record plats, ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, deed searches, boundary surveys, topographic surveys and review of title commitment reports.
• Assist with direction and monitoring of multiple survey crews.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with the use of Conventional, robotic and GPS survey and data collection equipment
