Under the direction of the Creative Director, the Marketing Specialist supports the Senior VP of Sales/Marketing and collaborates with various departments throughout the organization.

We're searching for a Marketing Specialist to execute and inform Flagship's marketing strategies by executing programs and tactics that grow our pipeline, engage, and retain B2B audiences help nurture them into leads and, eventually, clients. Our ideal Marketing Specialist commands best practices and trends in B2B conference and event marketing, enjoys being creative, and understands how to both build and convert B2B digital audiences.

We are looking for a multi-talented, highly organized marketer to write and produce digital content and printed marketing pieces.Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Plan, organize and schedule logistics for 30 trade shows and conferences per year.
  • Craft, execute, and analyze B2B Trade Show strategies and attendance
  • Research and manage sponsorships and third-party vendors as part of the conference strategy
  • Contribute to marketing projects as needed by copywriting, creating and posting on social platforms.
  • Assist the team with posting on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.to promote the company and our conference attendance
  • Place insertion orders, track and submit invoices for payment, work with printers to produce materials as needed to support conference attendance or other events.
  • Work closely with the Content Team to create effective email campaigns to promote our attendance at conferences and trade shows
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and executives to craft marketing and sales ideas.
  • Assist as needed with website updates using WordPress, working with our Content Team and Web Administrator. This role, along with every Marketing Team member, is cross-trained in supporting the Sales and Bid team when needed. Using our content management program, you may be called up to assist in crafting responses to Request for Information (RFI's), and Request for Proposals (RFP's).


Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience in B2B marketing with the proven ability to conduct engagements in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Experience with logistics and coordination of conferences and events, including pre and post show promotion.
  • Experience in posting to social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Ability to write copy, proofread and edit. Experience working with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Marketo or Pardot to set up workflows, nurtures, sequences, schedule social media posts and analyze results.
  • Understanding of inbound marketing concepts, Experience with and understanding of executing multi-platform marketing campaigns through social media, web development, email marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Familiarity with WordPress.Profcient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite to create supporting collateral (within brand guidelines) for our conference and event appearances. Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Consistent and concise communications are required to keep in-house customers in satellite offices informed about the progress of projects and to solicit their input.
  • Ability to take initiative and tackle projects with minimal direction.
  • Self-driven, positive approach to problem solving; ability to excel in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Must be a team player, willing to pitch in on projects with tight production deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain existing company design standards and work within company proposal and presentation templates.
  • Well-developed presentations skills and excellent customer relations skills.
  • Ability to think creatively.


Education and Work Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in the marketing field
  • 2+ years' experience in event planning and management
  • B.A. in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
