What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure plant machinery and equipment run at peak performance through expert inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Work hand-in-hand with manufacturer's reps and external technicians on complex repairs.
- Share your knowledge, guiding junior maintenance staff in the fine art of machinery upkeep.
- Handle basic electrical maintenance tasks like replacing fuses and motors, and keep our systems running smoothly.
- Get hands-on with cutting, welding, fabricating, and aligning essential skills for keeping everything in perfect order.
- Record maintenance activities meticulously, paving the way for efficiency and insightful analysis.
- Decode blueprints and diagrams to master machinery mechanics, ensuring flawless operations.
- Apply your deep knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor principles to maintain and enhance machinery performance.
- Flag recurrent issues and major fixes to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Leverage your troubleshooting prowess on PLC operations and understand the nuances of Ladder Logic.
- Skillfully manage challenges in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring durability and high performance.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of grounded experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
- Solid skills in PLC troubleshooting, a testament to your technical acumen.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex systems like Ladder Logic.
- A knack for solving puzzles in pneumatic and hydraulic machines.
- Expertise in deciphering schematics for intricate hydraulic systems.
- Adept at reading and understanding electrical diagrams and circuitry instructions up to 480v.
- Valued experience with high voltage electrical systems, enhancing your versatility.
