JMS Turning Point Division, a well-respected industrial construction/maintenance company, is currently seeking a Water Desk associate in the Canonsburg area.

Job Overview:
  • Responsible for the remote monitoring, operation and analysis of CNX water assets.
  • Remotely operates, monitors, and communicates to the appropriate entity the status of the storage facilities, well site equipment, water pipelines
  • Responsible for responding to emergency calls from landowners, regulatory agencies, law enforcement, emergency services and CNX personnel.
  • Must be able to make decisions to safely operate the field and properly communicate these decisions to the contractor workforce as well as CNX Resources employees and management.
  • Required to cover logistics desk responsibilities when required.
  • Coordinating with all CNX operations departments and fulfilling fluid hauling request as they come in.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive emergency calls for the company and follow emergency procedures.
  • Monitor weather for all operational areas and communicate and issues or concerns.
  • Recognize trouble spots in flow or pressure and take corrective actions.
  • Monitor/control water systems remotely, including performing emergency corrective action required.
  • Monitor/record all key operational parameters and report any anomalies in a timely manner, with particular attention to production rates, pressures, alarms, and non-productive times.
  • Maintain appropriate records and documents of daily activities and submit reports as required.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to monitor, resolve and escalate operational and safety issues.
  • Monitor SCADA/Wonderware and email alarms and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Report potential process safety issues and operational optimizations to the supervisor and appropriate personnel.
  • Understand and follow company standards, operating procedures, and recommended practices.
  • Monitor SCADA/Wonderware system health including communications with remote devise. Identify missing data and SCADA/Wonderware polling issues.
  • Monitor water volumes going to different storage, facilities, completions pads, and interconnections with other operators.
  • Work closely with Operations, Production, and Logistics teams.
  • Cross-train with the Logistic desk for control room flexibility and to achieve a better understanding of the complete system to improve operational value and decision making.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of Water Transfer operations experience
  • Working knowledge of gas well pads, on-site production water facilities, water pipeline systems.
  • Working knowledge of SCADA/Wonderware control systems.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Must be able to work a 7 on 7 off schedule. Rotates day and night shift every hitch.
  • Must be willing to cover shifts when needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, OneNote, teams and Word.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
