Hi! We are in need of a responsible truck driver to drive our box truck once or ideally twice a month **(every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month)**! The driver would pick up the box truck in Hialeah Gardens and drive to Farmshare in Homestead to pick up donated food items. The shift can range from 8:30-12:30pm for the pick-up and drop-off.

We are more than willing to provide service hours for anyone in need and we can discuss anything else you may need in this commitment.

If you have experience driving trucks and you have a heart to help the community, please reach out to us. We are in need of YOU!

Thank you and we truly look forward to hearing from you.

**Mission Statement**

Our mission is to strengthen families through love in action. Our vision is to help families in crisis by developing programs that will provide them with the necessary resources they need to emerge as a stronger family unit and have a positive impact on society.

**Description**

Voice of Love Training & Development, Inc was founded to encourage and guide families to become foster parents. Over the years, our mission has evolved to meet the critical needs of the community. Today, our projects include a consistent bi-monthly food distribution, occasional health fairs and other health-related events and Back to School events.

The food pantry draws from nearby cities such as Hialeah, one of Floridas largest cities (population: 320,000; average income, $35,182, zip codes 33010 through 33018)

Food distribution takes place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. VOL works with Farmshare, Feeding South Florida and area Aldi stores to provide residents with USDA and other foods, including but not limited to fresh vegetables, fruits and occasional meat products.

Currently, the drive-thru distribution operates with one box truck that was donated by a charitable organization.

The pantry is operated by an all-volunteer force, from retirees to high school students who sort and prepare food for distribution.
