Seniority level.

Experienced Trainer - Electrical Construction field preferred


Department / Division.

Corporate Training


Education / Experience.

  • Preferred degree: College degree and/or equal experience in training development and/or the electrical construction field.
  • Qualifying degree(s): Same as above.


Certification requirements.

Certified Corporate Trainer and/or in the electrical construction field (Journeyman, Master Electrician or Equal)


Software requirements.

  • Advanced – Microsoft 365, Teams, Power Point, Word, Excel, G-Sheets


Pre-employment requirements.

Drug Test and Background Check


Work type.

Onsite, In-office, M-F


Compensation.

Negotiable and based on industry/field/job related experience.


Job Functions.

  • The Corporate Trainer Manager will coordinate with company executives and department managers that will include but not be limited to managing the following requirements: maintaining a training schedule, reporting, and tracking training topics, team member feedback, areas for improvement, new training initiatives.


Role and Responsibilities.

  • Coordinate with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
  • Design effective training program.
  • Review internal and external training resources.
  • Coordinate, track, and schedule training seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
  • Keep attendance, sign-in sheets, recordings, and other records.
  • Manage training budgets.
  • Conduct training feedback and evaluations to identify areas of improvement.
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training.

Required Qualifications.

  • Proven experience as corporate trainer.
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Critical thinking and decision making.
  • High empathy skills and understanding of effective teaching methodologies and the willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in all facets of training.
  • Certifications in Electrical Field preferred.
