Some of the industries that we service are the power generation industry, refineries, pulp and paper plants, water treatment, oil and gas production, fertilizer, and chemical.Conval offers a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement, medical and dental, life insurance, flex spending account, 401K with company match and much more!We are actively seeking a Production Planner to add to our team!Requirements Determines lead times for manufacturing customer ordersReviews production schedule and MRP reports and initiates purchased material requisitions and shop floor jobsObtains or requests documents such as op sheets, blueprints, pick lists, and routings and combines documents to create a job packetRevises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipmentDistributes job packets to specified departmentsExpedites production of parts and purchasesMaintains order policy and lot sizing information in accordance with established policyReviews and reacts to Engineering Change Notices (ECN's)Processes and schedules subcontract vendorsCreates rework jobs in conjunction with manufacturing engineeringQualifications:Three to five years experience planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentGreat attention to detailExperience using an ERP system, Infor Visual is a plusExcellent communication skills
