Job Description: We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This role is crucial to ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders
- Inspect received goods for damages and report any discrepancies or issues
- Accurately enter received goods into the inventory system and properly store them in designated locations
- Responsible for picking and packing items from the warehouse according to customer orders
- Ensure that all items are properly packaged and labeled for shipping
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to assist with material handling tasks
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and reconciliation efforts
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
