Product Specialist Responsibilities

  • Investigate, triage and resolve issues with Meta's ads and business products.
  • Utilize knowledge of quantitative analysis, data mining, and presentation of data to identify trends and opportunities to design scalable processes used by advertisers across complex products.
  • Support front-line teams in complex investigations to improve user and advertiser experience on the platform.
  • Monitor and analyze advertiser reports for Meta and bug-related trends.
  • Separate advertiser confusion from bugs and communicate known issues to the sales team and their customers.
  • Advise the sales team and advertisers on how to accomplish the advertisers' desired outcome.
  • Partner and work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and additional teams to improve product quality and resources that help scale support and operations workflows.
  • Utilize quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers and understand advertiser sentiment better.
  • Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics using sound analysis and impact metrics to support their positions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of work experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Requires two years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Analysis of business information systems
  • 2. Writing SQL statements
  • 3. Business software products for process and business improvements
  • 4. Data analysis in SQL
  • 5. Working on investigating and resolving technical issues
  • 6. Resolving and communicating about issues with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 7. Providing practical business insight and solving problems using data.
