Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work as instruction by construction project manager and construction supervisor.


• Able to work as a team and independently as a painter as needed.


• Perform work as instructed.


• Apply paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces and structures, including walls, ceilings, indoor trim, as well as external surfaces such as bridges and buildings.


• Protect furniture, floors, and sometimes trim with tarps and masking tape to prevent damage during painting.


• Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks, sanding surfaces to a smooth finish, and applying primers or sealers as required.


• Select and mix the correct type of paint or coating for each project, following specifications and using knowledge of painting techniques.


• Work safely with various painting equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


• Coordinate with project managers, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects with high-quality results.

Position Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.


• Employee must be able to lift 50-100 pounds.


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
