The Grounds Keeper is responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility such as but not limited to: maintenance, production, and shipping, restrooms, lunchroom, driveways, parking areas and grounds surrounding the facility to ensure a safe work
environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
- Follow and enforce company safety polices and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others
- Maintain clean inside and outside work areas
- Empty barrel and trash containers
- Maintain office floors, restrooms, and break rooms
- Perform other janitorial services as needed
- Operate equipment and tools for seasonal activities as necessary.
- Inventories cleaning supplies and notifies appropriate personnel when re-orders are needed, being mindful of time allowance needed in ordering process. (different than SPS)
- Submit detailed and accurate work orders for any equipment issues as occurrences happen.
Physical & Work Requirements:- Time split between office environment and warehouse/plant or yard.
- Working in a yard or warehouse/plant within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy; steel-toed boots required daily.
- Job is performed under some temperature extremes
- Ability to stand, walk, or be mobile for up to 8 hours per shift
- Wear proper PPE at all times (as described in company policy)

What are the requirements?- Valid driver's license
- 18+ years old
- Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools

Pay and Benefits- Starting pay of $19.00 an hour
