Seeking an Financial Clerk to work for a large Insurance company in Grove City, OH.

This clerical position would be working for a Fortune 100 insurance and financial services organization who's headquartered in Columbus, OH. This company has also been named a Fortune 100 Best Place to Work!


The Details:

  • This is 100% in office
  • Location: Grove City, Ohio (office will be moving to Three Nationwide Plaza Columbus, OH in Dec-Free parking will be provided)
  • Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 3:30pm or 7:30 am- 4:00pm
  • Pay rate: $17.50/hr.

What you would be doing:

  • FULFILLMENT:Assemble daily mailings in response to customer requests. Maintains in-house forms inventory. Process ad-hoc mailings using inserter machine. Conducts quality evaluations on work to determine and report quality control and timeliness standards. Resolves basic issues and escalates to senior team members as necessary. Responsible for the inventory levels and organization of the fulfillment area.
  • CHECKS: Assemble and process checks requiring special handling or additional paperwork and performing underlying check support functions including, but not limited to reviewing balance sheets, research missing data, print and match accompanying paperwork and redirect overnight mailings as directed by the business. Responsible for maintaining and responding to inquiries from the group email box. Conducts quality evaluations on work to determine and report quality control and timeliness standards. Resolves basic issues and escalates to senior team members as necessary.
  • CONTRACT ISSUANCE: Assemble private sector contracts, contract additions, and contract addendums with proper forms or disclosures in accordance with government regulations, contract provisions, internal procedures and controls and business direction. Responsible for maintaining and responding to inquiries from the NW Contracts mailbox.Conducts quality evaluations on work to determine and report quality control and timeliness standards. Resolves basic issues and escalates to senior team members as necessary.
  • STATEMENTS: Under the direction of senior team members may assist with the processing of quarterly statements and underlying support functions (i.e., processing damaged statements, distribution of quality review packages, and reporting).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • One year or more experience in an office environment.
  • An ability to effectively operate a personal computer with related software(Microsoft Office)
  • Working quickly and efficiently with no errors
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds may be required (moving mail bins to pick up area carts are provided).
