Job Title: Financial Analyst - Customer Logistics (Meals and Beverage / Enterprise Warehouse Team)

Overview:
The Financial Analyst will support the Meals and Beverage (M&B) and Enterprise Warehouse teams by developing and delivering critical business reports, driving improvements, making business decisions, and identifying areas of inefficiency. This role includes managing the enabler actualization process, working cross-functionally to identify, track, and update savings projects. The individual will work on executive-facing projects, support leadership, and handle ad hoc reporting for Customer Logistics Finance, including a monthly update on fines projections for major customers and ad hoc project analysis. Occasional travel (typically 2-3 times per year) is required to visit warehouse and manufacturing sites or attend off-site meetings.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Conduct comparative analysis of actuals to budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Assist in the development of business forecasts and budgeting.
  • Develop and deliver performance analytics reports; compare actuals to budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Research, interpret, develop, and recommend financial and accounting concepts and techniques for financial planning and budgeting.
  • Develop an understanding of key systems, concepts, and approaches used in forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Create templates for cost center managers to load budgets and forecasts; collaborate with managers to load budgets and forecasts into the planning system.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training on the use of financial planning systems.
  • Recommend and implement process improvement changes related to forecasting and budgeting.
  • Develop multiple cross-functional relationships to obtain information necessary for determining future financial performance.
  • Assist in the development of budgets, volume and expense planning, and other financial requirements.
  • Manage the enabler actualization process by working cross-functionally to identify, track, and update savings projects.
  • Provide support for executive-facing projects and leadership.
  • Handle Customer Logistics Finance ad hoc reporting, including monthly updates on fines projections for major customers and ad hoc project analysis.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Scope of Responsibility:
  • Somewhat independent; working under general instructions and expected to determine how to accomplish work assignments.
  • Involved in the analysis of operating expenses of approximately $500M.
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, synthesizing complex or diverse information.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints, varying writing style to meet needs, and speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Managing project teams and communicating changes and progress.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to exercise discretion while managing confidential information.
  • Develop and coordinate projects, project plans, and complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and Internet software.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 2 years related experience required.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Frequently required to talk or hear.
Occasionally required to stand and walk.

Work Environment:

Office environment; noise level is usually minimal.

Travel Required:

Occasional travel - < 10% of the time.
This role provides a unique opportunity to deepen operational understanding, support executive projects, and drive critical business improvements within the Meals and Beverage and Enterprise Warehouse teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$47,600-$79,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
