Onsite Resource Provider (Bilingual Spanish)

The Backup Onsite Resource Provider (or Onsite Provider) will perform grassroots social work and assist with providing immediate resources for behavioral and emotional health, family, wellness or other life challenges at one of our customer's locations. Services are provided to employees at a distribution center/warehouse. This position is a long term, contract position and has a pay rate of $40/hour.


The need is for a bilingual in Spanish Onsite Provider.

As this is a backup position, there are no set hours, and the hours will be available on an as needed basis. When requested to provide backup coverage, candidates will need availability to cover up to 12 hours per week, typically split between two 6-hour shifts, completed Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, ideally covering hours between 8am and 8pm time frame. Options and flexibility for Mondays and Fridays may exist.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide resources for emergency food, housing and utilities as well as referrals for emotional issues, substance abuse, child and elder care, legal, financial or other issues
  • Work in tandem with ComPsych Employee Assistance Program
  • Assist in filling out applications and forms for housing and utility assistance and other community based resources to employees who may need help
  • Build rapport with employees and onsite HR/leadership to foster participation and engagement in the program


Qualified Candidates Must Have:

  • Bilingual Spanish-English is a requirement
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Psychology or Social Work or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Social work experience, including in person assistance with local resources (i.e. assisting with food stamps, emergency assistance, housing assistance, domestic violence, utility assistance, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of community based resources
  • Experience providing resources and referrals within a social work or mental health field, and knowledge of navigating community based service system effectively and efficiently
