Genius Talent has partnered with a leading healthcare organization in search of 50+ Registered Nurses (RN) throughout North Carolina. This will be a contract position for 16 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments, observations, and conversations with patients
- Documenting detailed medical histories and current health symptoms
- Preparing patients for examinations and treatments
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments
- Monitoring patients for any side effects or adverse reactions
- Collaborating with the medical team to create, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Performing wound care, including cleaning and bandaging
- Assisting in various medical procedures as necessary
- Operating and monitoring medical equipment to ensure patient safety and accurate results
- Drawing blood, urine, and other bodily fluids for laboratory analysis
- Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and care procedures
- Addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Supervising licensed practical nurses, vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students
Requirements:
- Licensed in North Carolina or reciprocal state
- Up to date on required immunizations
- 1 year nursing experience required; 1-year psychiatric experience preferred
