The selected candidate will train on 1st Shift and will be required to move to 2nd or 3rd Shift based on business needs
Pay
Level E
$25.40 - $28.13/hr.
Plus shift differential of $1.00 for any hours worked on 2nd Shift
Plus shift differential of $2.00 for any hours worked on 3rd Shift
Schedule
1st Shift
Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
(Other days and hours as needed)
Job Summary
- Assist maintenance personnel with installation work and projects
- Assist maintenance personnel with equipment change-overs and repairs
- Perform regulatory inspections and PM's
- General building maintenance and snow removal duties
- Active and continued enrollment in maintenance apprenticeship courses
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Required Qualifications- Demonstrates workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values
- Exercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products
- Successfully complete mechanical aptitude assessment
- High level of initiative and dedication
- Willing to be flexible working any shift and/or weekends based on business need
- Willing to complete educational courses as required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- No corrective actions from employment date or within the previous 12 consecutive months, whichever is longer
- Must maintain excellent attendance
Preferred Qualifications- Prior maintenance or maintenance trades experience
- Good working knowledge of maintenance trades
- Completed basic maintenance courses
- Ability to plan and coordinate work with multiple crafts
- Good computer skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting goals
- Previous electrical/electronic troubleshooting and computer controlled systems experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Lift Truck Operator license
