Position Title: Production
Wage: $19.00 - $22.00/hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd or 12 Hours
Hours: 5:00am 3:30pm (Monday Thursday), 3:30pm 2:00am (Monday Thursday), 9:00pm 7:30am (Monday Thursday), 5:00am 5:00pm (Friday Sunday) or 5:00pm 5:00am (Friday Sunday)
QPS is looking for candidates to work in Brooklyn, IA. With exciting potential for growth, this company is looking for candidates who are interested in learning how to make forklift tires.
Production Responsibilities:
- Build wheels for fork trucks and pallet jacks from start to finish in a variety of departments
- Load and unload materials onto sandblasting machine, adhesive applicator and paint machines
- Use razor blade to trim off excess materials before baking in the oven or operate trim machine
- Load ovens with completed materials to allow product to settle before trimming
- Load carts of new product and deliver to stations as needed
- Utilize grinder to grind tools/parts as needed
- Etch/stamp completed tires with custom logos and package for shipment
- Operate stand-up forklift to move materials through facility
Requirements for Production:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally (5-10x/day) and 15 pounds repetitively (10+ times/hour)
- Able to bend, twist, push, pull and pinch/grasp
- Able to push/pull 75 pounds occasionally (1x/hour)
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
