IDR is looking for candidates with a background in criminal justice to join one of our largest clients as an E-Content Training Developer! This role is largely remote, and allows you to contribute your knowledge of training and development to a highly sought after organization. Responsibilities for the E-Content Training Developer:
- Develop and convert high-quality corrections or law enforcement-oriented core and specialized training curriculum, points of instruction, and training content into electronic formats.
- Conduct in-depth research on current events, analyze industry trends, and review scholarly research to determine training needs.
- Collaborate with assigned training staff to strategize training curriculum goals and maintain effective communication to meet project deadlines.
- Attend TEAMs meetings with training staff and complete quality assurance checks on electronic training products.
- Learn and utilize the ACADIS/FTACS platform for creating, submitting, and monitoring lesson plans and training events.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Skills Required for the E-Content Training Developer:
- Bachelor s degree in corrections, criminal justice, or related field preferred. Previous experience in law enforcement, corrections, or creating electronic training content is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in software such as Articulate Storyline, Blastersuite, Corel Photoshop Ultimate, Sony Movie Studio, Xara 3D Maker, Wondershare Filmora, Vegas Studio, and Adobe. Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CCSS, JavaScript, and Visual Basic is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to consistently meet performance deadlines and demonstrate skill in developing various forms of training content.
