Spherion is currently seeking 2nd shift General Manufacturing Warehouse Associates to fill a temp to PERMANENT position!!
Employees will be responsible for manually packaging a variety of fencing, manually assembling panels using pneumatic drills, loading shipping materials, and other physically demanding labor tasks. This position requires being able to work in a fast paced / physically demanding environment. In this position you will also be on your feet consistently for 10+ hours at a time and lifting up to 50lbs
**These positions are only for 2nd shift, so the perfect candidate will be comfortable working in the evening and comfortable working in a labor intensive position.
2ND SHIFT | TUESDAY-FRIDAY | 3:30PM - 2:00AM
Responsibilities:

PACKAGING ASSOCIATE
SHIPPING LOADERS
PANELS ASSEMBLY (MANUAL & AUTOMATED ASSEMBLY)
PAINT LINE HANGING ASSOCIATE
POST MACHINE OPERATOR
Working hours: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Skills:
Responsibilities Include:
Manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations, and sorting.
Work in teams to remove fencing from the conveyor and package accordingly.
Pack the product for shipment.
Move product/inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting.
Perform repetitive assembly operations using pneumatic hand drill for 10-12 hours
Prepare jobs for change in order.
Operate hand tools, crimp tools, etc. to prepare packaging.

1-4 years

Job Skills:
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand or walk for 10+ hours consistently
Perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly
Pay close attention to detail and quality
Work in a team environment
Comfortable bending, lifting, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing and/or pulling material consistently
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in manufacturing or related field
Ability to work in fast paced / physically demanding environment
Ability to endure heat in a warehouse environment
Willing to submit to background screening and drug screening
