Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative in North Platte, NE is responsible for contacting consumers, gathering account information, and setting up payment arrangements. With exceptional customer service skills, you will effectively communicate with consumers over the telephone. Using scripted openings, you will identify the consumer, the company, and request payment on the account. Additionally, you will recommend payment sources for unpaid account balances, update customer records, and perform other assigned duties. This position is based in North Platte, NE and operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Salary Range:
Up to $18 per hour plus commissions and bonuses, based on experience.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you must be capable of satisfactorily performing each essential duty. The following qualifications are required:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Preferably, customer service experience
* Desired call center environment experience
* Office environment experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative in North Platte, NE, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Provide exemplary customer service over the telephone
* Utilize scripted openings to initiate contact with the appropriate party
* Recommend payment sources for outstanding account balances
* Update customer records with new information, maintain call results or disposition, and take relevant notes
* Perform other assigned duties
Communication/Teamwork Skills:
Strong communication skills are vital for success in this role, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Technology Skills:
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and phone experience, is preferred.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a comfortable, temperature-controlled office environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will spend your work hours seated at a desk. The role involves making telephone calls, using a standard keyboard for typing, and reading and comprehending information from a computer terminal or written resources.
