Our client is an organization in the Appleton area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, detail oriented, and motivated. This company offers professional growth and promotes a family-like culture. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $60k - $80k.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts. Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare sales/use tax returns or filings.
- Conduct accounts receivable related research and perform accounts receivable collection duties to maximize company cash flow.
- Coordinate and analyze year-end physical inventory.
- Prepare credit reference relating to and for customers.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
- Experience with financial statement preparation, collections, fixed assets, and cost accounting desirable.
- 1+ years of experience in general accounting.
- Very detail oriented.
- Motivated and curious to learn.
