Looking for a fulfilling caregiving job near Garnet Valley? We need to hire a Direct Support Staff member to join our team! If you're a compassionate, patient, and caring individual, this could be the perfect fit for you!
We offer flexible hours, primarily Monday and Tuesday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday overnights. These hours can be split between individuals or put together in a mix-or-match way. Flexible shifts.
You'll be providing direct support to a very sweet gentleman diagnosed with Down Syndrome in his cozy home. Working alongside a supportive team of caregivers, you'll make a meaningful difference in his life.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Staff who don't wear perfume or fragrances.
- Not be a smoker
- Be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of direct care experience
- Has a valid driver s license and reliable transportation
- Has a minimum of a High school diploma or GED
- Dependable, mature, and caring individuals
Our ideal candidate:
- Brings experience in caregiving and working with individuals with special needs
- Possesses a mature, down-to-earth demeanor.
- Enjoys collaborating as part of a team.
- Has a great sense of humor, a calm demeanor, and isn't overly loud
- Is kind, fun, and understanding.
