The function of the Security Officer is directly related to the security, safety and maintenance of the school building and the protection of all school personnel and property. The Security Officer will lend supervision to hallways, lavatories, and cafeteria, as well as check the passes of visitors and students moving throughout the school district buildings. Responsibility: Security is directly responsible to the building principal and through him/her to the Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Superintendent of Schools. Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Will be required to pass a criminal history background check, physical and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
