Ensure Quality Control. Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site. Adhere to testing methods, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT). Document and Report Information. Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner, interpreting, documenting, and storing the results. Communicate test results in a timely manner to the supervisor and properly document in a database. Maintain Lab Standards. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in and around the lab. Troubleshoot problems and review basic product specifications. Inspect, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment periodically. Monitor Stockpile.
