We are seeking an Order Entry Technician for our specialized pharmacy.
We are looking for certified candidates but are open to considering those with strong data entry experience who are interested in becoming certified in the future.
The company operates a closed-door pharmacy, managing the distribution of approximately 35,000 prescriptions daily across multiple states.
Location: Franklin, TN 37067
Hours: M-F 9:30am - 6pm - Rotating Saturday shift once a month (The week you work a Saturday you have a weekday off)
Pay Rate: $18-$21.50
Duties:
- Assist internal and external customers courteously.
- Process and accurately enter prescription orders promptly.
- Adhere to government regulations and labeling guidelines.
- Calculate and verify correct dosages.
- Support pharmacy workflow to meet production needs.
- Consult with pharmacists for order clarifications.
- Complete data fields according to procedures.
- Handle special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: - Data Entry Specialist or Certified Pharmacy Tech, Non-certified Pharmacy Tech
- Data entry experience
- 40+ WPM
- EMR/Pharmacy software experience
