**Childcare Provider, On Call #536 - HIRING BONUS**

This on-call, entry-level position works at LifeWorks NW's Mountaindale program in Cornelius, Oregon (rural Washington County). This program provides residential substance abuse services for women who are pregnant or have children under 9 years of age.

The **Child Care Provider** position provides safe, age-appropriate care to client's children while the clients attend group.

As a behavioral health organization, LifeWorks NW employees are required to have had their COVID 19 vaccination (or have an approved medical/religious exemption) . Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required upon hire.

**Days/Hours:** As an on-call position, days/hours vary. Must be available to work within the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. It is OK to only be available some of those days/hours.

**Pay**: $1,000 hiring bonus for this position. $15.15 to $16.29 per hour. Additional $.50 per hour for working in rural Washington County.

**Qualifications:**

* High school diploma/GED with coursework in child development strongly preferred.

* 1-3 years previous childcare experience preferred.

* Demonstrates effective communication skills and maintains a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.

* Basic computer skills including keyboarding, use of mouse, ability to navigate website and use common web browser.

* Must be able to pass a DHS background check.
