Here, you will make an impact by:Knows and understands all machine safety requirementsMust be knowledgeable in safety and cleanliness of trailers prior to pre-loading/pre-entryComplete daily PIV and safety inspections and change batteries on electric powered PIV as scheduledFollow all safety proceduresPerform SAP transactions both manual input as well as bar coding systemResponsible to properly pick and prepare for outbound shipment following customer specific guidelines for labeling and shipment preparation by verifying packaging, labeling, qty, material and shipping specsPerform all purchase receiving functions. Report discrepancies to Supervisor, Group Leader or PlanningMust demonstrate active participation in continuous improvement and problem solvingComplete cycle counts as requiredMaintain 5S standardsCross trained in the line sequencing processMust be trained in customer outbound barcode scanning processOther duties as assignedResponsible to follow all quality procedures to meet ISO / TS 16949 Quality Management System and customer requirements as well as all environmental procedures to meet ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirementsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionOne (1) year of manufacturing experienceWork location:Onsite Newark, Delaware.Relocation Assistance: Not AuthorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
