Public Works Employee
South Strabane Township is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Employee. Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent, experience in maintenance and construction activities, including: paving, snow plowing, park grounds and facilities maintenance, infrastructure repair, etc. Must have strong work ethic. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods is a must. Preference given to candidates with auto and heavy truck mechanical ability and experience working on air brakes and diesel engines. Candidates must have a valid PA driver's license, CDL A must be obtained within one year of hire date. Residency within 15 miles is required.
