Consilio's client, a boutique firm in Philadelphia, seeks a New Jersey-based insurance defense litigator with at least five years of experience. The attorney will take charge of an existing case and periodically make court appearances at the Hudson County Superior Court in Jersey City, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a solo practitioner who is looking to take on an additional litigation matter.
Job Details:
- Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per week (but will vary)
- Location: Remote - Court appearances may be required in Jersey City, NJ.
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Pay rate: $80 - $90 per hour
Job Duties:
- The attorney will provide comprehensive assistance with an existing case, handling discovery and motion practice, attending court hearings and depositions, meeting and interviewing witnesses, and appearing in court.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Litigation experience (insurance defense)
- New Jersey State Bar membership
The hourly rate range for this position is approximately $80 - $90 per hour. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
