Great MI Pathology opportunity for Perm Search coverage
starting 6/24/24 or ASAP and ongoing.
Inpatient - Hospital-based Pathology Lab
Schedule: to start end of June
Shift: Mon. - Fri. 8a-5p, Full-time
Call: Weekly, alternate week; Fri.@5p - Fri. @ 8a
Approximate cases read per day: 35-50
Locum to be responsible for Grossing own specimens.
Also will be cutting own frozen sections on the Cryostat.
Group: 1 Physician (usually 2), 4 Histotechnologists, 0 Path
Assistants, 0 Cytotechnologists
No teaching or supervision required.
Other Pathologists will be present during Locum's coverage.
Cryostat - Thermo Shandon, Microscope - Nikon
Method of Preparation: Cytospin
Required Anatomic Path Procedures: Surgical, GI, GU, Neuro,
Derma, Hemato, Interpretation of Bone Marrow Aspirate/bx,
Cytology, Autopsy
Required Clinical Path Procedures: Hematology, Microbiology,
Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank
Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form
